IWDBarCodeReader

Hello !

I have tried the UIElement IWDBarCodeReader with a Symbol MC9060G (Windows CE.Net 4.2).

The problem is: the Scanner is not active, when i browse (Browser= Internet Explorer of Windows CE.Net) to the View with the IWDBarCodeReader UIElement.

The view contains the IWDBarCodeReader UIElement as describe in the Online Help: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/b7/3efd406b8af16fe10000000a1550b0/content.htm

What do I have to do to activate the Scanner ?

Frank,

If u want to run the WD appln in the portal environment then u have to create this appln as an iview in the portal environment.

For conversion refer to this link.

HI Nagarajan!

I don't want to run my WebDynpro application in a portal.

I just want to use the BarcodeScanner of my Smbol device - and when I browser to the view of my test application the Scanner on the Symbol device doesn't activate

Hi Frank,

Check on to the profile details of the scanner:

Profile Name = Company Reference

Package Name = com.sapportals.wcm.service.antivirus

Is Active = Activated

Is Default = Activated

Is Reference = Activated

Reference Profile = McAfeeProfile
