Defect recording

Hi Craig

During result recording when i reject a characteristic defect recording screen should pop up but it is not coming .what should i do for that.

Hi,

You can get automatic pop up for deffect recording for that u have to Activate 'Deffect recording ' control indicator in the qulaity plan for that characteristics.

And then maintain deffect catalog and assign code group

but

do not maintain deffect code for rejection in the same catalog tab

Now whenever ur characteristics get rejected u i ll automatic pop up for deffect recording

I don't think you can get it to pop up by itself automatically.

What if you had no defects to record?
