We use SRM for procurement, where the purchases are made through shopping carts.
We also want the project cash management feature to be incorporated for the Capital investment projects.
I am unable to find the right approach towards project cash management, wherein the payments are reported for the commitment items whereas becaues of the SRM we would not create requisitions (commitments) in the first place.
Please suggest.
If you are using Extended Classic scenario i.e, all your purchasing documents are created in SRM, including shopping carts. If you convert the shopping carts into PO, the same is replicated in back end ECC system.
So I would assume once your PO is replicated in backend, commitment value ( i.e.,PO value) against a WBS would be reflecting in reports.
Why cash management, if you just want to monitor commitments?
