&variable(C)& - what is this (C)?

Hi all,

What does the (C) qualifier do to &variable(C)& when found in a Smartform Text Node? I would like to read some Help to see all the options but I don't even know what this is called - if anyone can give me a link I would appreciate it.

Thanks ...Keith

Hi,

This is the SAPscript help that explains these formatting options;

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/d2/cb3d07455611d189710000e8322d00/frameset.htm

The options are the same in smartforms.

In this case C removes any spaces from the variable.

Regards,

Nick

Thanks Nick,

The link only takes me to the beginning of the Sapscript section - the exact location is not possible i guess. I will look for this in this section, but at least I'm over my immediate problem

This is a formatting option which does the following:

the system takes the field value as a sequence of words separated by blanks. There words are merged to the left and then separated by one blank character each. Leading blanks are omitted completely as with ABA P statement CONDENSE.

Go to the formattiong options:
