Item category Group

Hi,

In material FERT the itemcategory group is changed from FERT to BANS.and wen we create an order the line iten is not updating to TAS.Item category determination is perfect.But it is not updating in sales order saying Item category determination not made for TAS if i manually put TAS.

Is there any program to refresh or anything i need to do.

In QAS it is working fine.Issue is in PRD.

Hi

Though you are confident that Item Category Determination is perfectly done, please check once again the determinations made and post it here. It may give some clue to find the reason for this error.

In material master for different distributin chanels maintained different item catgory group & Genral item category group.

Both system are different qa and prd my be some setting is missing in prd plz check in

Item Category is determined using the key combination of

a) Sales Document Type + Item Category Group + Usage + Higher Level Item Category = required item category.
