What is the difference between the delivery block given in VOV8 and VOV6.

Both are same only parameter are different to handle the different succession

delivery block in vovd is header level if you want block, as well as sehdule line level if you want block you can do it .that is the functionality.

Dear Srikanth,

The difference between the delivery block given in VOV8 and VOV6 is

-->If you give the block in VOV8 transaction that will applicable to whole document.

-->Result is the perticular order type will be blocked for the delivery.

-->If you give the block in VOV6 transaction that will applicable to scheduleline category.

-->Result is that perticular scheduleline category will be blocked for the delivery.

HI,

Block at VOV8 is applicable for the whole document i.e.,, at header level and block at VOV6 is applicable for the particular item i.e., at item level.

Hi

The delivery block in VOV8 applies to all the items in that sales order. The block in VOV6 applies to the schedule lines and if you want to remove the block for any specific schedule line, you can do it.

Does this block in VOV6 control individual items as per the respective schedule line category determined during the order.

their are 3 parameter to block delivery

a) Sales Document Type

b) Delivery Type

c) Schedule Line Category

d)

Only to handle the different cases
