Hi All,
1) created FILE to FILE scenario to migrate data from people soft to mainframes.
2) Created FILE to IDOC scenario to transfer data from SIEBEL to SAP R/3.
3) Created FILE to JDBC to send the data from mainframes to ORACLE system.
Can any body explain these objects clearly. In each case hw the data(format) is coming to xi and hw the or in which format the data is going to receiver system.

in case of file to file
data in xml format or non xml format will cum to xi and in the receiver system obviously xml format
in case of file to idoc
data in xml or non xml (fcc) cums to xi and in the receiver system i.e SAP sytem idoc s are posted
in case of file to jdbc
data in xml or nonxml cums to xi and in the receiver system the data is updated/inserted in the database depending upon req...
