Dispatcher not working

hi

I am trying to install ECC 6.0 Non-IDES version. In the Master DVD that i got i did'nt find Central Instance Services. So i took Netweaver 04 Master DVD and installed ABAP Instance. It worked.

Later I started installing Java-Add-In-for ABAP. When I start installing Java the ABAP instance gets stopped (Yellow color) and then i will get the error message "Connect to Message Server failed NIECONN_REFUSED

I am not understanding why we are not getting Central instance installation option in ECC 6.0 Master DVD.

And if you any solution to this please post a reply

Hi Subramanya,

It is not wise to install ECC6.0 with Netweaver 04 Master DVD.

Please use Installation Master for ECC6.0.

Why are you bothering for Central Instance Services.

Install ABAP central and database instance.After that install Java add-in for abap.

Hi,

For dispatcher to work properly your central instance must be up and running.

Your cd/dvd may be corrupted as it is not showing an option for central instance.

Try installing with a fresh copy of dumps.

If you have still struggling with this ...

This could be Server Memory leakage problem.

Note 1013166 - ICM patch collection (7.10)

I had same problem of memory leakage on VM Ware.

I have increased VM server memory and it worked for me.

See if it works for you as well....
