ERP 2005 installtion hangs

Hi All,

I am installing erp 2005 sr2 in the windows os with the oracle database. The isntalltion we smooth till now and now it is in the phase of system landscape directory and creating user SLDAPIUSER . This actvity is going on from the past five hours and nothing is happening out . I dint get any error or warning message also inst show this phase in progress. Can some one please suggest me is there anything wrong with the installtion or it takes time.

Hello Arvnd ,

Please check the installation logs in Program Files\sapinst_instdir\ERP ....

Check last modified log file to find out the cause .

I m keep checking the log also , in the log it says Info create user SLDAPIUSER , it is showing the same

any ideas please

Can you find any additional info in other log ?

Creating user is less than 1 min job in SAPinst .

I have checked all the logs.sapinst,sapinst_dev,user check,sdmcall..etc....Everything executed sucsessfully. Not able to determine wats going wrong,inst is in the same phase

Are you in position to stop and start ( Continue ) the installation ?

Yes i can stop and start(continue) the inst. I can re start the inst with old installtion
