Workflow Visio Error after upgrade

This is quite a wierd error i saw in the dev system post upgrade.Hope some of you might have similar experiences.

The Client was on SP 3 upgraded to SP 6. Post this upgrade -- After launching the workflow from the Console the MDM Workflow 'Step Properties' pane is not shown which lead us to version of workflow.exe to be installed / changed

Workflow version available with us is 5.5.62.33 and MDM Server version is 5.5.62.47. will it have any impact if we install a lower version workflow

Hi,

It is mandatory to have the same Versions of Installables.You cannot use the lower version of Workflow_Install_Ver setup with the higher version of MDM Server.Though you can open the Visio but Step propertiers wont be visible.

Hi Rajesh

We also faced the same problem and it was resolved. Steps:

1)we cannot have different version of installables.

2) Apply OSS Note 1012747 (MDM 5.5 Workflow pane is not visible after launching) if step 1 is not solving the problem.

Point taken Jitesh, does that mean that the reverse is also true - i.e

Can we go ahead and install 5.5.62.48 when server is MDM Server version is 5.5.62.47
