Using a Webdynpro DC from a Portal DC

Hi!!!

I have created a webdynpro development component (WDDC) and now i'm trying to use it from an enterprise portal development component (EPDC).

I have the public parts of the WDDC, but I don't know to access to them, since it's not a webdynpro application. How can I do it??

What I want is to access a method from it. My problem is that I want to execute a BAPI from the Portal DC (which is a Service Provider).

The only way that poped up from my mind is using a second DC for getting the info I need. It's a method of type "public String getPernr()".

Hi,

It would be really helpfull, if you could explain what you are trying to access from this DC.

One thing you need to take in to consideration is during the rendering/runtime only webdynpro Dc have its actual java/servlet nature

other wise its all about metadata which can be converted to a format based on the client request.
