Sales document header text data format

Former Member

Hi all,

Anyone knows a user exit, or something else, to define a specific format for a sales document's text?

I need that the user only can load percentages in the text. That means user only should load numbers between 0 and 100, if he write 101, for example, program must send an error message.

Can you help me?

Thanks.

If you are talking about long texts, I don't think there is a configuration option, at least not in 46C. You might have seen an user-exit in action.

Cristian-

I think Keerthi is right about the new date field on additional data B. A better solution for upgrades and for reporting - even if you saw it before in the text. Reporting on text is difficult especially with queries, BI, ...

No, they needed only for invoices and packing list layouts... the text extacting is not complicated by fuction READ_TEXT_INLINE

For the other hand, additional data B, dont have to much fields availables and they could be used for most important purposes.

Please, someone knows the user exit for text format?

HI Diaz,

Try with these User Exits these may help you

The program MV45AFZZ

USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT

Use this user exit to fill user-specific statistics update tables.

The user exit is called up by the FORM routine BELEG-SICHERN before

the COMMIT command.

Note

If a standard field is changed, the field r185d-dataloss is set to

X. The system queries this indicator at the beginning of the safety

routine. This is why this indicator must also be set during the

maintenance of user-specific tables that are also to be saved.

USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE

Use this user exit to make certain changes or checks immediately

before saving a document. It is the last possibility for changing or

checking a document before posting.

The user exit is carried out at the beginning of the FORM routine

BELEG_SICHERN.

I hope it will help you

Regards,

Murali.
