Now why I am getting this error

SX_GENERATE_NDR Gannot process message in SAP System

Hello ,

I think this may becasue of the connection to the SMTP server not being established .

Can you please check from Mail Server`s side ?

I already check and reconformed from mail server in SMTP

smtp.company.com

in area I typed *

I double check back ground job as well thats ok and running sucessfully

Is the Mail Server is ( smtp.company.name ) can send mail ?

I mean can you send mails using this Mail server , check again

You will require the Mail Server details for that , please ask System Administrator to configure the system in your outlook and test .

I have been tried in XI 3.0 system but that system has different nodes like IMAIL with RFC connection that mail is running fine...

We are using lotus notes 6.5 is there any way can i check that server name

also that notes you provided me its shows timeout

in profile icm/server_2 timeout 3600 ( i belived it sec.)

and I create background job every 5 munites... is that ok ? + smtp 5 munites as well

Have you configure Lotus Enterprise Integrator / Connector on Mail Server .

SAP will send the mails to SMTP ( That you have already specify in Profile ) Lotus Enterprise Integrator OR SAP Connector send that request to Mail Server .

Have you configure Lotus Enterprise Integrator on mail server , have you send mails using this SMTP details before ?

sorry i wanna discuess one more thing with you

after when I sent mail after couple of munite i got messages widnow "express messages" with check sign... and after its same 817 error messages

ok, thats i belived internet mail is running fine, for example, in XI system I create one node IMAIL with RFC connection when I apply tr: so01 and send mail it works fine....

but as per sap notes you don't need to create nodes if you are running SMTP...so in BW system had 2 nodes one SMTP which is automatically created and 2nd someone created Imail...

I delete Imail nodes, now only smtp left... before i delete imail nodes I sent mail thats works fine...

I want to send mail without other nodes just simply through smtp

can you please your R3 system how many connection or nodes you have if you have only smtp only and mail goes through fine... then why not in here ?

I like to discuess with you becuase you much understand what i am tyring to do

Hello Awan ,

Can you configure or specify the same parameter in SMTP node ( Take a reference of XI system node IMAIL ) and try .

We can track the cause .
