hi Gurus,

can anyone explain the role of an MDM Consultant.

We have a Masterdata team at our client place, are they similar to these MDM Consultant.

Roles of MDM consultant

1. Import Data from XI using Import Manager

2. Using MDM Console to create Repository and populate it with Data

3 Syndicate the data using MDM Syndicator

4 .Convert Functional to Technical Specs

MDM consultant takes part in Blue printing and requirement gathering phase.

MDM consultant has to create repository according to the business requirement in Console and then with the help of Import Manager it has to import data into repository which can be seen in Data Manager. In data manager you can find duplicates,add, delete, modify the records. For exporting out the records we use syndicator.
