Hi,
because we try to set up a ALE-distribution for sending data to XI and distribute it to other systems i searched SDN. There i found this blog: [https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/5651] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken];
I doubt that we have to do the BD64 configuration because when you try to send data to XI the IDocs are generated and could be monitored in WE02/BD87. Therefore we only need to configure WE20/WE21 to send the data to XI. From XI it could be send whereever we want to!
Am i right or do i forgot something?!
The steps concerning logical system etc. we already have implemented!!!

Hi,
You are right.
That blog explains you about creating and assigning Logical systems, defining the type of data we are transferring, creating partner profiles and creating ports.
These are called ALE Configuration settings, which are enough to transfer IDOCs from R/3 to XI.

You are doing right.
You have to create a distribution model
