Hi Friends,

No data getting displayed on executing the LIS reports like MCTA giving the message "No data exists for chosen selection".

I have executed the process of LIS updation by using the T codes OLIX, OLI7, OLI8 & OLI9, I have even checked the statistic groups maintained in the customer master and as well in the material master.

Request you to help me out if I need to check for any other settings.

Regards / Srikar

Regarding your issue please re-check the following:

Statistic Group:

Purpose – To capture data for Standard Reports, we require to activate Statistic Group as under:

> Item category (Configuration- Path IMG> Logistics Information System (LIS)> Logistics Data Warehouse> Updating> Updating Control>Statistics Groups-->Assign Statistics Groups for each Sales Document Item Type)

> Sales document type (Configuration - Path IMG> Logistics Information System (LIS)> Logistics Data Warehouse> Updating> Updating Control>Statistics Groups> Settings: Sales and Distribution>Assign Statistics Groups for Each Sales Document Type and also maintain correct entries in --> Determine Billing Document Types Relevant to Statistics)

--> Customer (Maintain in Customer Master data- Sales View - Cust Stats grp)

--> Material (Maintain in Master data - Sales:Sales Org 2 view - Matl Statistic grp)

When you generate statistics in the logistics information system, the system uses the combination of specified statistics groups to determine the appropriate update sequence. The update sequence in turn determines for exactly which fields the statistics are generated.

Configuration:

IMG --> Logistics Information System (LIS) --> Logistics Data Warehouse --> Updating --> Updating Control --> Settings: Sales --> Statistics Groups -->

1. Maintain Statistics Groups for Customers

2. Maintain Statistics Groups for Material

3. Maintain Statistics Groups for Sales Documents

4. Assign Statistics Groups for Each Sales Document Type

5. Assign Statistics Groups for each Sales Document Item Type .....

After doing the above create a new Sales cycle and check MCTA and MCTC.

Thank you

Anil

Hi srikar

Once you create a LIS , old records wont get updated immeditely. Once you do all configuration settings by assigning statastics groups and other things .and run t.code OLI7 which is used to update pas records.

Then create a new sales order and save it and run t.code MCSI . there you can see the output (which are characteristics feilds)

Hello Srikar,

not automatically all documents are updated.

The document should be relevant for updating. This is defined

in the Customizing.

You can check an order with transaction MCVR. This is the simulation or the updating of an order. If the order not updated in the infostructure the the order is not relevant for updating.

Probably the updategroup is missing.

The order must have an updategroup at the header and at the item. You can check the table VBAK and VBAP. The field STAFO should be filled.

If the field is not filled the the order could not be updated.

If an updategroup does exist at the heater and at the item the it could be an error in the TMC2P tables.

For this reason you can find some information in note 99507.

I hope that the information are helpful.

Please give Reward Points.

With best regards

Claudia

Hi

The documents created before updating the statistics groups cannot be seen thro LIS. Confirm whether you have any documents created after updating or not.

Thanks,

Ravi

Hi,

Also check weather you have maintained and assigned the statistics groups for Sales document type.

Check these in the following menu path.

Spro > logistic-general > LIS > logistic data warehouse > updating >updating control > settings:sales > statistics groups.

check all your settings are maintained correctly.

Reward points if useful.

Hi,

As you have already maintained the statistics group for master datas just check weather you are using the standard selection 1 in that field.

also check the period maintained in MCTA and the selection criteria.

Reward points if useful.
