I have to print the Address only in 4 lines in the envelope.

But , we know that there are many parameters like city,state,telno,country,street .....

My requirement is ,

if there is no state value then go and print country ...

if there is no door number, then print street ....

How to achieve this requirement ?

Hi,

If you are using Smartforms;

There is an attribute of the address node called 'Number of lines to be used'. Enter 4 in this field and the system will automatically prioritise the most important fields (from a postal address point of view).

If you are using SAPscript the ADDRESS command has an option LINES which works in the same way.

create an address window

go to general attributes tab

here u will find type and additional address specifications

in additional address specifications the second field is "No of Lines to be used"

this will keep the lenght of the address as 4 and prioritise which fields to insert.

1.write condition in program lines and display in the text elements.

2.For every variable ,there is one text element need to create.Write the conditions in condition Tab.

Hi,

place the codition node for each of them if that filed is not initial only print the data.

-> Create a condition node in that provide the codition

field name <> initial.
