I have a sales order worth 300 kg from customer 1
dated 01.05.2008 (delivery has not happend)
I have another sales order worth 300 kg of the same material from customer 2
dated 14.05.2008
So now since the customer 2 is a priority customer the stock is not yet produced and will take two days to produce it...but the customer needs the delivery today....
It cant be done as 300 kg stock is already reserved for customer 1...
This should not happen...it should not reserve stock...what should be done????
Go to ovz9, select your availability check and checking rule and click on blue lens on top. There
untick +"Include sales reqmts"+
and save. Now stock will not be reserved against the order created first.
thanks

Hi
If the stock is not reserved there is no guarantee that you can keep you delivery commitments as per the schedules. Since the stock planned for this order will be delivered against another order, you cannot deliver stock to the first order as committed/confirmed while creating the order. Hence it is not recommended under general business scenarios.
Thanks,
Ravi
