how to use emulators

Hi ;

Here I need your help again please tell me I have an emulator now if I build an application for always connected scenario in webdynpro for java then am I going to copy the url of deployed application in the browser of my emulator or is there any other way .

Also there is one more doubt that do I need to specify any internet settings in the emulator. Please help

Hi,

You are correct. You just need to copy the URL of your application in the emulator's browser.

Regarding internet settings, if you have any proxy server used in your environment then i think you have to find out the required settings file and then update the same and restart the emulator. I am not sure where you can do this with Microsoft device eumulater but with blackberry you can do the same by changing the parameters in rimpublic.properties file.
