Hi,

Deleting latest logs are not advised because it might be difficult to analyse issues if you face any.

So advise keep something like the last 1000 odd lines.

WORK Directory:

In work directory std_server0.out, std_dispatcher.out file might be a huge file and you can truncate it. Remove all the files with .b00 and .old extensions. This was for previous startup

j2ee/cluster/server0/log Directory:

In the log directory remove all the default trace files which are not latest keep atleast backup for 24 hrs. Similarly remove application logs and config audit files. Similarly in log directory you have another directory called system where you can remove the log files.

j2ee/cluster/dispatcher

Similar to server0 you will have log folder even here where you can remove the default trace. You again have system directory here.

Note that while removing the logs you keep the latest ones, which will help you for investigation.

Thanks & Regards,

Vijith

You can delete archived logs from j2ee/cluster/server0/log/archive directory.

/usr/sap/trans is usually a good bet to free up disk space. How much space does it use it in your installation?
