ABAP 640 dialog in a heterogeneous landscape with windows central instance?

Hi,

Is the following installation supported?:

SAP 2004 (ECC 5.0, 640) - ABAP

Central Instance Windows 2003 x64 (64bit), Oracle 10g

Dialog Instance SLES10 x86 (32bit) or x64 (64bit)

If it is supported can anyone point me to an installation guide or note?

Thank you.

I did check those, but I need the other way around:

Appl. Server Linux, DB Windows

This is also possible - although pretty uncommon - and that's why there are no notes

There's no difference in both ways, instead of mounting the filesystem from the Windows system you need to use smbmount to mount it from the Windows instance.

The "easiest" way would be to install Linux on the database server too, then you will have no issues at all
