item category issue

Dear sap gurus,

my client requirement is the first line item should be standard item(tan),

the second line item should be text item (tatx)

i had tested in dev1 server as follows:

there are 2 line items in a sale order.

1st line item display 10 items with item category tan.

2nd line item no material by default the system taking tatx as item category.

i had saved the order.

when i do delivery,material field is in grey mode for the 1st line item, it is not displaying second line item.

why is it so.

please advice me on this

kindly advice me how this to map into SAP

hi divya ,

In delievery only those item are bein g displayed which have confirmed schedule line .

Since in line 20 there is no item hence no schedule line exist hence it is not being displayed .

If you give some item in line 20 then it will come in the delievey

Hi,

go to VOV7 - item category settings. Select TATX. Click on the check box relevant for delivery and save it.
