Hi Gurus
How to add a new condition categories to the predefined one
Thanks
Mahesh
As rightly pointed out by Prasanth, itis notat all advisable to use a new condition category, which is not provided by SAP. It will have lot of affecting development objects, even it can affect various applications like SD, MM etc. It will also affect the repricing pricing types as most of the logic in pricing types is based on the condition category along with other fields.
If you want to use some condition categories, there are always lot of c.cs available for you. Any c.c. in reserve categories can be used for your purpose (FROM 5 TO 9)
Hope this helps.

Hello,
There is a pull down menu at tcode V/06 for Condition category but I think there is not provision to add an entry to this at the IMG.
Condition category is a domain value defined in the value table for the domainin the data dictionary, I believe it is not advicable creating a new one. Most domain value level settings are used in too many programs as controltriggers and would most likely require mods to source code to utilize them.
