Lock Table Issue

Hi Experts,

We just came across one problem. If a user goes to Material Maintenance ...do some changes and gets out of the screen.

Then when doing PGI the system gives an error, plant data of this material is locked by XXXXX user and doesnt not allow to do PGI. Even after the user is out of the screen , why should we get this error message still..Is there a way to avoid this? Please suggest.

you can check in SM12 transaction any locked object,

wait until the lock get released.

Hello,

This could be becasue of the table updation problem or a system slow. Check whether the system performance is slow or not? I think you need to wait for some more time and try it later. If it is not working weel, then consult the technical team.
