Modify Display variant in VL04

Dear Friends

How can we modify the display variant in VL04 transaction.....I am asking for the selection varaint which stores values for different parameters of the screen....I am talking about the field called Display varaint where some variants area already created??/ How can we create some more and modify the existing one??

Hello,

please check your user profile and maintain the parameter

SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN with a value of 'A' in the following path:

> system

> user profile

> own data

> parameter tab

If you have set the parameter you can save your own display variants.

Then you can go to transaction VL04.

> Goto

> Variants

> ......

Here you can maintain and save you own variants.
