SRM MDM catalog

Hi,

We are working on SRM MDM catalog.

MDM version is SP06 patch 2

SRM 5.0

SRM MDM catalog 2.0

When i enter the URL http://<J2ee server:port>/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM i m getting an error Connection to server failed.

How do i resolve this?

Any prequiste for this?

Hi,

Did you get some logon screen ?

Some possibilities:

Java API has not deployed in the J2EE

MDM Server was not running

Hi,

Yes i m getting a logon scren.MDM Server is running fine.

The JAVA Api file that cums with business content of catalog is deployed on Web AS yet i m getting an error "connection to server failed"

Any idea hw to solve this?

Please try to connect without server password.

If you still get the error, WebAS side trace log may help you.

Hi ,

I have a small doubt ,the WebAS has to be on the MDM server or it can be on SRM server.

The JAVA API file is to be deployed on MDM or SRM Web AS?

Any WebAS server is OK. It does not matter with MDM, SRM or Other.

I hav a small doubt again the URL mentioned above the J2EE server is IP of WebAs server or the SRM server or J2EE server.

It is J2EE server name that you have deployed the Search UI and Java API package.
