RFC Destination (Remote Logon)is not Success

Former Member

Hi All,

I have created one RFC Destination in SAP R/3 towards XI.

I have given the IP of XI and System Number

And also provided all the details like User, Pass, client Language.

After this i saved and clicked on Connect Test, it is Success.

Then now i clicked on Remote Logon. It is not going to another page, it is still showing the same SM59 page, No change......

What could be the problem

Regards

Suman

Hi Suman

check few things for RFC Destination sender system

1 Check IP address is XI server's IP

2 Login and password information is XI server

3 Change your password in ALL Caps and now check again

Hi Chandu,

R u getting any error in while doing the scenario?

The scenario works even it is not login into the XI Remotely.

Provide the valide username and password in the SM59 tr.code.

User need authorization to login to XI remotely. Ask the Basis guys.

If you want to remotely login ask the basis guy to create the new user and provide the user detailsin the SM59 and test it.

If you are getting any errors let me know.

Hi

Remote logon is not working for me while connecting from R/3 4.7 to SRM 7.0. The user, which is trying to connect to SRM 7.0 (Web AS 7.0) has SAP_ALL. I have tried with other users as well, but get the same error.

Remote logon with SAP* works though.

Hi Suman,

What type of connection type are you using?

Just follow this.

if its a TCP/IP Connection then there wont be any problem.

Have you given Gateway options.

Give username and password.

Thanks

Test this destination by sending some IDOC, you might be using communication user credentials in this destination.

Testing with this kind of user will not take you to the next page when you will press Remote Logon but it will actually work in case of real time scenario.

Also if you are not using communication user then try providing the password in CAPITALS.

Check the type of user (system/dialog) ?. Only if it is a dialog user then u can do a remote logon.

Hi,

Iam using the Dialog User only, which is created with my Emp Number for me.

- try directly logging in from saplogon pad with the same details provided in SM59.

-then check if the details(user/passowrd etc) given in RFC destination are correct

Hi,

But when i checked with the RFC destination created in XI Towards SAP R/3

It is giving Success for Remote logon

Every thing is correct only in both the cases.

Can you pls. try using communication user & also the CAPITALs pwd.

Also ask your BASIS person to try his/her pwd & test it.
