value mapping

Hi all,

we have created value mapping in Dev server ,and noe al lthe IR and ID components is transfered to integration server.

i can not see value mappings in ID.

my question is is Value mapping tranpsortable .,if so is it transportable on same namespace or in different.

i tried to create new mapping replicating same one in DEV server,it is hsowing like wildcard charceters not permited.

i used following values in DEV serv

Source

agency = *

Schema = company

target

agency = *

Schema = Receiver

Please help

No. Bcoz it is stored in runtime cache

It's not transportable but you could try using value mapping mass replication intstead.

try to export the mapping with the special function of the keyboard : cotrlshiftright button of mouse, then export.

Actually, you can transport the value mappings you defined in the Integration Directory. You can find them under Tools -> Export Configuration Objects, select 'Individual Objects' and type 'Value Mapping Group'.

The difficulty is that, if you did not define a group name for your mapping, you will only see object IDs here.
