While I was importing IDOC Metadate from ECC, the following error message appeard.
Communication error: 'Error during the retrieval of the logon data store'
Please help.

i think you are facing some Role problems.
Check you have all XI Developer Roles attached to your user..

Try checking the authorizations of user.
Why r u importing the idoc metadata? It is automatically loaded when u run the scenario and hence not mandatory. Try configuring the scenraio directly.

There must be some privileges required to load the metadata
