bex web report on mobile device (blackberry)
When I try to access the report url via blackberry, I get an error sais: "iview is not compatible with your browser..."
Can anyone explain what should I do?
Thanks
Ami
Hi Ami,
Please try to add the following after ur url
sap-wd-client=WmlClient
if ur url is
http:/abcd/<Your appln name>?xxx
then add sap-wd-client=WmlClient after ? and remove xxx.
Some UI elements are not supported check link

Thanks Siva, Akhil for your reply.
The problem I have is due to the limitation of the iView/portal to be comapatible with the blackberry version.
I don't think its related to WML rendering issue because i made a custom web dynpro application and could access it from the blackberry device.
But for accessing BW report, it seems its require to be able support iView elment.
Is there a possibilty to access BW report without the portal/iview support requirement, same as I access web dynpro application?
Otherwise what other option do I have in order to access the report?
Thanks
Ami
Hi,
Looks like the standard webdynpro control IView which is used to display report is not supported on your blackberry browser which is the cause for your issue. The problem is not all webdynpro controls are supported on a mobile device because of their rich set of UI.
Try the same link on a more latest blackberry(any other device with latest version of IE)if you have any.
Best Regards,
Siva.
