questions on Item usage and credit management

Hi

I have two questions

1. what is item usage , where it is configured , and how it will work , it is a hard coded one. can any one give with example

2. I want to maintain credit limit of the customer 20% more perticular to a season.

example: pepsi , in summer season the system should allow the credit limit more than 20 % then the initial one.

Item Usage -- Item category usage controls, for example, the system response if during document processing an item does not refer to a material but to a text item.

Also helps in Item Cat. Determination...

generally used for "TExt or Dervice item" or "Contracts"

For ur second doubt y dont u use "Horizon" for the customer.

it will limit for the months specified.
