Hi Team,

I have installed dev and quality on same physical server. I have already made dev as domain controller.Now how can i add quality to the domain controller.

Can i transport a request from one client to anothore client in dev system.if so kindly tell em the process.

Hi,

you mean to say following is your system landscape.

DEV and QAS instance on same windows host.

and PRD on different windows host.

you can configure three system landscape if you have above landscape or configure two system landscape if you have only two system in landscape.

you can copy the request data from same system and different client.

use tcode SCC1 and give the source client ( from where request is released.) and give request number

and check including request subtask

Exactly as u said, i have my dev and qas on the same windows host name and prd in other other host name.

I need to add PRD to the domain controller as a new sap system. But in domain controller i find only ( virtual,domain,external) at create button.

Hi,

to setup three system landscape do following.

prerequisites:

-> set one system as domain controller. in your case it is DEV.

-> Add SAP QAS system to domain controller

-> Add SAP PRD system to domain controller.

you can add QAS system to domain controller using following steps.

login into QAS system client 000. ( stms is not configures that i assumed)

run stms -> it's ask for set up STMS -> click on other configurition (F6)

Target Host -> host name of domain controller ( host name of DEV system)

System number -> Instance number of domain controller ( instance number of DEV system)

same way add PRD system.

now login into domain controller system in client 000 ( you are set DEV as domain controller)

run STMS -> overview -> transport routes

form configuration -> standard configuration -> three system in groups

assign SID of DEV,QAS and PRD system.

save and distribute the configuration.

Hi,

If the standard configurations delivered by SAP do not meet your landscape needs,

TMS has editors available to allow you to maintain the landscape,

this type of setup called complex system landscape.

suppose you want to add two more system in landscape.

TRN - for training purpose

PR2 - second productive system.

then you need to define consolidation route from DEV to for your TRN system and delivery route from QAS to PR2 system .
