MEMORY PROBLEM

Hi experts,

i am facing sevier problem

When users are trying to execute the TRANSACTIONS in the system all DIA workprocess are going to ONHOLD? what is the problem can any one explain plz.even i change the below parameters

PHYS_MEMSIZE 512 to 1500 and my actual memory is

(Physical mem avail Kb=4192968

Physical mem free Kb =1085844)

can i allocate more memory to PHYS_MEMSIZE

i changed the abap/heap_area_dia 2000000000 to 2002783008 and abap/buffersize 300000 to 400000 and i RESTARTED THE SYSTEM even thoug work process are showing the same status.

i executed the SGEN also but it was taken around 48 hours and not complited success fully in 48 hours just it's compiled 12% of total programs so i terminated that

CAN ANY ON EXPLAIN HOW CAN I MAINTAIN THE MEMORY SETTINGS FOR MY SYSTEM

SINCE I RESTORED MY DATABASE IAM FACING THIS PROBLEM, PREVIOUS IT WAS FINE.

we are using IBM server with 4GB of RAM iam using WINDOWS NT 32 BIT

check Note : 88416 zero memory administration on windows 32 bit
