Hi
There are two types of objects in SAP, client dependent and client independent.
Objects used in several clients are called client independent while objects used in a specific client is called client dependent. To identify if a table is client dependent, one can use tcodes SE11 or SE12. In the table field attributes, if the MANDT field is present that table is client dependent.
A client-dependent table has the field MANDT of data type CLNT, which indicates Client id.
A client-independent table does not have this field.
Data which can be access by all user are client independent (no mandt field in table). Data which can be access by some specific user are client dependent (use mandt field in table)

Report is not client independent. After creating a report in one client you can not see that in other client. That is reason we transport the client dependent objects li9ke report to other client so that the object will be available. If a report is independent then it is not required to to transport.
Please write the correct answer if you know
Hi,
CLIENT DEPENDANT & INDEPENDANT TABLES
If the data stored in a Table is pertaining to one single client and doesnt effect any other client in the landscape, then that table is called client dependant.
For example, all your master data tables are client dependant i.e. The data
stored in these tables is uniquely maintained client wise. Such as KNA1, VBAK, VBRK etc.
A client dependant can be identifed by looking at the first field of the table i.e. MANDT (Client).
On the other hand, Client independant table will carry data across the client. That is the data stored in the table is viewable in any client, it doesnt matter what client you have logged in, whether it be a development or quality or prodution in one system landscape.
For example, all your condition tables are cross client, i.e. they effect across all the clients in the landscape.
