Plant Determination

Friends,

As we know plant is determined in the sales order based on following things 1) CMR 2) Customer maser data 3) Material Master data.

Even if we specified we specified everything, plant is not getting determined in the sales order.

Ple explain if there is any configuration related to plant determination.

Dear Shiv,

What is the message are you getting in Sales Order related to Plant Determination??

plz check whether you have maintained the Plant data in Material Master at Organisational Level i.e. before going into different Views.

Also make sure that if you maintained Plant at CMIR & Customer Master.

Hi Patil,

What u said is correct. Plant is determined from CMIR or CMR or MMR.

Please check whether plant data is maintained in Cumstomer Master record-Sales Area data-Shipping tab Or

Material Master Record-Sales Org1 data. am sure it shld reflect in ur sales order.

thanks for responce. However we specified plant in CMR, Customer Master & Material Master, still plant is not getting determined in the sale order. What should be the reason

Dear Shiv,

Pls check out assignment of plant to Sales Organisation & Dist. Channel. U may have maintain plant in CMIR, CMR, MMR but u have to assign to SAles Org and Dist Channel.
