what are the files in /tmp/dev_tp_xxxx

hi,

i was patching Support Package in the system and then it error stopped at the phase of TEST_IMPORT.

When check the SLOG file, it says

ERROR: Could not open file /tmp/dev_tp_2720

FATAL NOSTDOUT_COLLECTION MTP 0212 20080512183355 SYSADM SIMESAP

when i go to /tmp/ , i see a lot of other dev_tp_xxxx files.

questions

a.) i wonder why the systems said cannot write to /tmp/

b.) can the other dev_tp_xxxx files be deleted ? what are these files ?

problem can be solved by

SPAM --> Extras --> Ignore test import errors
