"Central Person" already exists for user xyz

I tried to create a user through "Generate EBP Users from Existing SU01 Users" and received the following message.

User not created or error(s) occurred during creation. "Central Person" already exists for user xyz.

Has anyone seen this message before? Do you know how to fix it?

Dear friend

Go to Tcode USERS_GEN

Use option correction Click on tab "Delete User Accounts and Employees

Execute serach for user name

Click on Delete assignment only

Again execute trans. USERS_GEN and integrate user to organisation model.

Hi. You should be able to assign like Imthiaz says, however, if that causes errors, you can delete the existing CP and start again.

If you go to SE16 and table HRP1001 in SRM and put in "Object Type" = CP and "Related Object Type" = US and "Related object ID" = the user name and execute, it will give you the existing CP number in the "Object ID" field.

If you then go to function HR_CENTRALPERSON_DELETE and stick in the central person number it will delete it.

Then you can run USERS_GEN again.

It means the CP already exist for that user and you cannot generate another one. Go to PPOMA_BBP and select your desired Org.Unit and assign this existing user ( right click on that node and select appropriately).
