kindly please explain the details of reverse calculation ,how and why it is used in sd?

if you are trying reverse calculation for the conditions and pricing then there is a condition category (H) percentage included.

this will give you the percentage - from the base value .

hi friend ,

Reverse calculation is the method which sap uses to calulate the result starting from the final result .

Analogy could be reaching to the answer starting from the solution .

eg: In Sap we follows the concept of Backward schedulling .

In this we have requested Delievery date by the customer .

on the basis of this we decide when to do the following thing

1 goods issue

2 loading

3 transpotation planning

4 availability check for the material

this is done so that the order reaches the customer on time .

This is an example of reverse or backward calculation.
