Syntax of the tp command issued from the command line on the AS/400

Hello,

We are implementing SAP ECC 6.0 on IBM System i, i5/OS V5R4.

Could someone please guide me to the correct syntax for the different options of the tp command when issued from the command line (from the Operating System level) as I always get an error message :

'Errors occurred in command.' when I issue the different options of the tp command from the command line; e.g. tp help, tp go <SID>, tp connect <SID>, ...etc.

Hi,

execute tp help using following syntax.

tp 'help'

alternate you can use tp using sap menu on iseries.

login with SIDOFR user

now select 2. Change and Transport System press enter

now select 1. Change Current Directory to /usr/sap/trans/bin press enter

now select 2. Run tp press enter

in parameters you can enter TP parameters.
