Hi Guys,
Does anyone know if it's possible to bill on a 4/4/5 weekly basis with a periodic billing plan?
Many Thanks,
Cara
Could you explain in more detail? What is 4/4/5?

Hi Keerthi,
4/4/5 billing is where billing is performed after 4 weeks, 4 weeks, 5 weeks throughout the year to make up the quarters in full weeks. It's also sometimes known as last Friday in the month billing. It's a standard way that financials work in other systems and something we have in legacy that they want to be able to keep in SAP. Unfortunately I cannot see how this can be replicated in periodic billing plans?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as currently it looks like this would be a manual process.
Thanks,
Cara
Hi
You need to maintain the factory calender based on the last friday for every month and assign this calender in the customer master billing schedule and invoice list schedule in the billing tab.
The periodic bill can be generated based on the invoice list generated for the particular customer.

How about:
1. Define a new rule for determining dates - say 99.
Set Baseline date to 07 - Billing date/Invoice date
Set Calendar id to a factory calendar, say ZZ, that has your billing days marked as working days. In your case every 4th/4th/5th Friday is a working day.
2. Create a new periodic billing plan type and set the above date rule in the Next bill.date field.
