LIPS-CMPNT (credit function active) field origination

Hi All,

In the DB Table LIPS there is a field called Credit function active (LIPS-CMPNT)

Can you please tell from where this is comming into the deliverydocument. What could be the basis for it.

I need it because when ever this field is "X" the credit value is being seen in the VKM1, VKM4 T.code. When it is blank then no credit value is comming in the VKM1 & VKM4.

LIPS-CMPNT (credit function active) should be flowing from the sales order item level (VBAP-CMPNT). The value in the sales item, in turn, should be picked up from the item category configuration in VOV7. : Credit active in business data block of Item category definition.

Yes!. you are correct. ..sir

But in my scenario here is little different,

In some deliveries this field (LIPS-CNPMT) is checked/marked/activated even if the VOV7 item category is not credit active. i am not sure from where this is comming?

Hence I still have a feeling that CNPMT comes from some where else.

Any clues about it..............please let me know.

how about the sales order line (VBAP). Is the value set there ?

I believe user may always overwrite the default values coming from item category, if it is available on the item screen

Thanks for your reply, but i cant see this field in T691F at all. Could be little more specific from which field this is in T691F?
