Is SAPGUI compatible with windows vista

Dear All

Have any one faced problem running SAPGUI with windows Vista ? Recently I have faced such problem while running transaction "SQVI" from windows vista typically using "table join" as data source. It simply hanging. The same transaction is running properly from windows xp , 2000 .

Any idea ?

I'm on a Vista pilot and I am having the EXACT same issue with SQVI.....just hangs during a table join command.

Have you resolved this issue???

Hi Santanu Haoladar. Yes the sapgui 710 are compatible with windows Vista, per Note 947334 - New features in SAP GUI for Windows 7.10 --> "Support for the Microsoft operating system Vista (only "Business", "Ultimate" and "Enterprise" editions)". Install this version of sapgui with latest patches. Regards.

Hi Santanu

As such SAP has not given any compatibility assurance with Vista, but we have been running SAP gui on Vista systems past 1 year now, didn't faced any such issues.

Rather you try to upgrade your SAP gui to the latest available version.
