Problems in SCM 5.0

Former Member

Hi experts,

I'm facing couple of problems during the testing for upgrade to SCM 5.0.

a) I'm unable to delete an order interactively from the planning book. It works well in 4.1 but it doesn't work in 5.0

b) Deployment when run both interactively and in background sometimes works well and other times gives an error 'No destination exists for the product'. The product is present in a valid transportation lane and i can see no obvious error.

If any of you have come across this please do let me know!

Thanks!

Rahul

Hi

For the first one, it depends on exactly what you are trying to do (eg prod planned, distribution demand etc) and also the Service Pack level of your SCM 5.0 system, but there are various notes that may need to be applied to sort this. For example:

[Note 1071836 - After heuristic you cannot delete orders in the grid|https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1071836]

[Note 1153835 - SNP purchase req. are not deleted (external procurment)|https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1153835]

[Note 1114292 - Transport orders cannot be deleted in the grid|https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1114292]

[Note 1016905 - SNP planned orders cannot be deleted|https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1016905]

[Note 998842 - SNP purchase requisitions cannot be deleted|https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=998842]

There are probably more related notes so it is possibly worth doing a search for yourself based on the particular items you are trying to delete and, as I say, your Service Patch level.

Regards

Ian
