I need output like this......

Global Centre | Chicago | America

If I do in the way which all of u have suggested, the following would be the output.

So Please look at my desired output and suggest accordingly.

Hi,

in the left side box choose ur paragraph format(For eg: P1)

<C2>Global centre</>(end with forward slash</>) | <C2>Chicago</> (end with forward slash</>)| <C2>Mexico</>(end with forward slash</>)

Here C2 is character format with underline.

This will definetly works.

Hi,

in smart style create a character format..........in that there is a tab FONT in that u select the underline check box and save and activate the style.(for ex you have created c1 as character format)

now use that in the smartform.

along with this.

create a templete that has three columns

select the pattern which has no outer frame and which has only vertical lines.

under that templeate create three text nodes in that each Put your required text as * <C1>Global Centre</>

  • <C1>Chicago</>

  • <C1>America</>

. And in the output options of each text give lines and column as line 1 column 1,

line 2 column 2 ,

line 3 column 3

Thanks,

NN.

Creating seperate style

is not necessary

Create a template

with 1 row and 3 coloums

and in your 3 text elements write your 3 fields & click on each text element in the output options check Frames check box its adjacent side you will find priview of the frame

you can remove both vertical & upper lines

by clicking the boxes

which showing the respective lines

then you will horizontal lines upto your text only

Try it ones it works.

Thanks,

Phani.
