Hi All,
What is the procedure for connecting ECC 6.0 for BAPI and RFC with xMII 12.0
what are the configurations to be made at ECC 6.0 and xMII 12.0. Are they same as done xMII 11.5
Best Regards
Namita
Hi,
There is not much difference between 11.5 and 12.0 in calling BAPI or RFC, apart from look and feel and inclusion of xMII workbench(where you can create and edit BLS transaction, QT, DT).
Configuring SAP servers has to be done in SAP servers under data services.

Namita,
You can create html pages using Dreamweaver or Frontpage or Sharepoint Designer. You have to embed applets in the webpage. These applets call the query templates and display templates. Query templates in turn call the transactions where business logic is written.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Prasanna
but i actually want to ask is can we still use the URL for calling teh transaction and passing the parameters from teh front page
'http://servername/Lighthammer/Runner?LoginName=&LoginPassword=&Transaction='
'&ivalue='menuItem, null,"height=10, width=10, status=yes, toolbar=no, location=no"
If no then what will be the difference now in xMII 12.0
Hello Namita,
xMII 12.0 is under the netweaver and no longer under the IIS, there is an HTML editor in xMII Workbench where you can build your HTML or you can use an external editor, but will always have to import your file into the netweaver using xMII workbench.
In connection with SAP BAPI you should build in the BLS using the portfolio of SAP connectors.
Greetings
Marcelo
