webdynpro perspecitve not visible in NetWeaver 7.1 CE SP05

Hi All ,

I have installed NetWeaver 7.1 CE SP05. but i cnt see jee , webdynpro perspective . only perspectives available are

1. Debug

2. Resource(default)

3. Team Synchronizing

Hi,

Please check the version of JDK installed. I think it should be JDK 1.5.

yes , i hv checkd version of JDK. its right one.

When installing Developer studio 7.1 you only get the bare eclipse installation. You have to add web dynpro and all alse after the initial install is complete.

In order for the updates to work you need to specify the correct xml file in the beginning of the installation. Make sure you unzip the installation archives before runing IDESetup. (As oppsed to running it directly from the zip file)
