Dear All,
I have a question, if sales contract have schedule line ? Cause in my idea, until a contract release to a sales order will have a schedule line.
Thanks in advance!
You are right. Contracts do not have a schedule line. they appear only in the release order.

Hi
In such cases you should think of Scheduling Agreements.
Both contracts and Scheduling Agreements are Outline Agreements. The only difference between these two in broad sense is Schedule lines. Since the Sch Agr have schedule lines - it is not required to create a release order again.
Thanks,
Ravi

Hi,
Commercially Contracts are agreement with the customer that the customer will order certain amount of goods/service within specified period.
In case of Value contract, the agreement is for specific amount for certain materials within specified period while quantity contract contains quantity of the material. Both contracts does not have delivery dates.Hence there is no schedule line in contract.
You can create release order when customer orders against value contract while scheduling agreement can be created if customer provides delivery dates.
Thanks,
Vrajesh
