purposes for some main output type in delivery

sure. such as picking list is used to pick material in the warehouse by picker. but I don't know what other outputs are used for ? thanks very much!

Hi Bo,

Output types are something which you create. There already standard output types present in SAP like RD00, LD00, etc... All output types created by user are assigned "z" or "y" as prefix for understanding. A condition record is maintained for automatically deriving the output type when the required process is completed.

Say for picking once the picking is done and the delivery document saved or enter is pressed the picking output type would pop up from the output condition records automatically.

You should assign a partner type and communicating medium necessarily to the output type so that the delivery stage is processed via printer, email or fax.

EK00 is the output type which we use for the packing related

LD00 is the output type which we use to send as a delivery note to the customer if he asks or it can be used as a gate pass to show when the stock goes out of the shipping point
