Steps to convert a par based application into DC

Hi all,

I have a requirement to convert a par based application into DC.After making a DC from a par application, i have to put the same DC into JDI tracks.Please help me in this regard and reply me how to go for it step by step.

Any document would also be helpful for fullfillig above requirement.

Hi,

I have created the DC of type Enterprise portal( Portal Application standalone) but while building i am getting the below mentioned error:

CDynPageEg.java:2: package com.sap.tc.logging does not exist...

Can anyone suggest me how to resolve this issue.

Hi,

1. Create development components (DCs) with the appropriate name and type for the existing projects.

2. Open the Package Explorer view to see both the DC projects and the non-DC projects.

3. Copy the objects/packages from the non-DC projects to the appropriate folders of the DC projects.

4. Identify the objects that are used by other DCs and add them to the public parts of the DC.

5. Add the use dependency to the new DCs to the metadata of the using DCs.

6. Adapt the descriptors if required.

Hi,

Use the File Import SAP Enterprise Portal->PARFile

Right Click and select Development component->Convert project to Development Component.
