Destroy Expired Goods

Dear All,

Which movement type I can use for transfer stock from unrestricted area to block area for expired goods with T-Code MB11 and please mention the process of destroyed expired goods from SAP. When I have transfer stock from Unrestricted to block, system generate error like Short fall of SLED/BBD.

In SAP system, we refer it as scrapping and you post a scrapping like a goods issue without reference.

You don't post expired stock from unrestricted use to block account

but instead move it directly to scrap account.

You can scrap materials from the stock types below

unrestricted-use stock

quality inspection stock

blocked stock

The movement types are

unrestricted-use stock - Movement type 551

quality inspection stock - Movement type 553

blocked stock - Movement type 555

A scrapping has the following results in the system:

- the relevant stock is reduced

- the value of the scrapped material is posted from the stock account to a scrap account

- the costs of the scrapped material are assigned to the cost center specified.

You may consider movement type 551 - scrapping from unrestricted use
